Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you're like me and can't resist the combination of chocolate and peanut butter; you are going to love these cookies. They are so delicious!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 3 to 6 dozen depending on the size

1 Cup of White Sugar

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

1 Cup of Butter or Margarine softened to room temperature

1 Cup of Smooth or Creamy Peanut Butter

1 teaspoon of Vanilla

2 Large Eggs

2 teaspoons of Baking Soda

3 Cups of All Purpose Flour

1 to 1 1/2 Cups of Chocolate Chips

In large mixing bowl, cream margarine, peanut butter and sugars on medium speed of hand mixer until completely blended. Next add eggs and vanilla. Blend together. Add flour and baking soda. Blend together. Stir in chocolate chips.

Roll into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet leaving 2 inches between each ball. Flatten each ball with a fork.
Bake in preheated 375F oven for 10 - 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
***The baking time and the number of cookies will depend on the size of cookies you make. I usually drop my cookie dough onto the baking sheet, using a cookie scoop which holds about 2 Tablespoons of dough. This makes 3 dozen finished cookies about 3 inches in diameter and it generally takes the full 18 minutes to bake each pan.

If you make your cookie dough balls about half this size, you will get twice as many cookies and will take about 10 - 12 minutes to bake. I usually make the smaller cookies, if I am taking a tray of assorted sweets to an event or gathering.***
